PositionPro is a desktop window management application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data PositionPro does and does not collect.

Data Collection

PositionPro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All application data — including window positions, profiles, and settings — is stored locally on your computer in your user profile directory. No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

What We Store Locally

PositionPro stores the following data locally on your device only:

Window positions (application name, screen coordinates, and window size), profile configurations, application preferences and settings, and executable file paths for profile app launching. This data never leaves your computer.

Update Checks

When you click "Check for Updates", PositionPro makes a single request to our server to download a small text file containing the latest version number. No personal information, device identifiers, or usage data is transmitted during this request. No data is logged server-side beyond standard web server access logs (IP address and timestamp), which are not used for tracking purposes.

Analytics and Tracking

PositionPro does not include any analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising software.

Third Parties

PositionPro does not share any data with third parties. If you purchase PositionPro through the Microsoft Store, that transaction is handled by Microsoft under their own privacy policy. If you purchase through our website, payment is processed by PayPal under their privacy policy. We do not have access to your payment details.

Children's Privacy

PositionPro does not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
